Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, licensed acupuncturist, nationally board certified by the National Certification Board for Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine (NCBAHM), with advanced training in Chinese Herbal Medicine and integrative wellness.
Dr. Vélez is passionate about combining the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine with modern evidence-based healthcare to help patients achieve lasting wellness. She believes in treating the root cause of illness—not just the symptoms—through personalized, holistic care that restores balance to the body, mind, and spirit.

Dr. Vélez earned her Bachelor's degree in Biology before pursuing advanced graduate studies in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine at Bastyr University, followed by doctoral training at Pacific College of Health and Science. Her education combines extensive clinical experience in acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, nutrition, and integrative medicine, enabling her to deliver evidence-informed, personalized care tailored to each patient's unique health goals and overall well-being.
Throughout her career, she has worked with patients experiencing complex chronic conditions, including autoimmune diseases such as Multiple Sclerosis and Sjögren's Syndrome, as well as endometriosis, infertility, chronic pain, and other women's health concerns. She is committed to lifelong learning through continuing education and advanced clinical training to ensure her patients receive the highest standard of care.
As the founder of Tropical Healing, Dr. Vélez created a welcoming space where patients feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout their healing journey. Her greatest passion is helping individuals reconnect with their body's natural ability to heal while providing compassionate, personalized care that promotes long-term health and vitality.
Kellymar Pérez
Licensed Esthetician
Kellymar is a licensed esthetician dedicated to helping every client achieve healthy, radiant skin through personalized care and advanced aesthetic treatments. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Forensic Investigation, along with a professional certification in Comprehensive Esthetics, where she developed specialized expertise in facial treatments, advanced skincare, and skin health.
Her passion extends beyond improving skin—she is committed to helping clients feel confident, cared for, and comfortable in their own skin. Kellymar believes every facial is an opportunity to educate, connect, and create a relaxing experience while supporting each person's unique skincare journey.
One of her favorite treatments is Microneedling, an advanced collagen-induction therapy that helps improve skin texture, minimize acne scars, reduce the appearance of fine lines and enlarged pores, and promote a smoother, more even complexion. She enjoys combining science-backed techniques with individualized treatment plans to deliver natural, long-lasting results.
Outside the treatment room, Kellymar enjoys spending quality time with her family, especially creating memories with her son. She loves discovering new restaurants, is an animal lover, and never says no to a refreshing cup of hibiscus tea. Her warm personality and genuine passion for helping others make every visit a welcoming and rejuvenating experience.
Coralysmarie Rosado
Licensed Massage Therapist
Coralysmarie Rosado is a licensed massage therapist with a Bachelor's degree in Athletic Therapy and advanced certification as a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT). Her specialized training includes Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT) and Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), allowing her to provide evidence-based care for patients with lymphedema, post-surgical recovery, chronic swelling, musculoskeletal conditions, and sports-related injuries.
Her professional background includes working with individuals in athletic, rehabilitation, and clinical settings, giving her extensive experience in pain management, injury recovery, and functional movement. She develops individualized treatment plans designed to reduce pain, improve mobility, promote recovery, and support long-term physical health.
Coralysmarie's areas of expertise include therapeutic massage, manual lymphatic drainage, post-operative care, sports recovery, and soft tissue rehabilitation. She is committed to educating her patients about their condition and providing practical strategies that support recovery and wellness beyond the treatment session.
Outside of the clinic, Coralysmarie enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring new restaurants, and pursuing creative hobbies such as dance and arts and crafts. She is dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a professional and welcoming environment.

She coordinates scheduling, patient communications, and administrative services, ensuring each visit is organized, efficient, and stress-free.
